Grand Slam Safaris, a professional guide service dedicated to providing quality bighorn sheep hunting adventures. A licensed Nevada Master Guide since 1976, fully insured and permitted by state and federal agencies. Our goal is to provide each client with the best opportunity of harvesting a trophy class ram. Through the years our clients have taken twenty rams qualifying for the Boone & Crocket record book.

 

We offer fully guided hunts in all bighorn sheep units throughout the state. We are in the field year round scouting, photographing and observing wild sheep. Our camps are quite comfortable utilizing travel trailers for meals and lodging. From base camp we conduct day hunts by four-wheel drive and backpack. Your trophy will be professionally handled in the field and properly prepared for transportation to your taxidermist.

 

Refer to our Permits page for bighorn tags available through auction, draw and raffle. We will assist with the application process by selecting units that will meet your hunt expectations. Once a permit is secured the next step is customizing a hunt plan that will provide the highest possibility of success. The plan will include outfitter scouting, client pre-hunt preparation and details pertaining to the actual hunt.

 

Our standard hunt is seven days in length. However, hunters looking for an exceptional ram are advised to book either a ten or fourteen day hunt. A fifty percent deposit is required at time of booking to reserve hunt date. The balance due ten days prior to arrival. Fly in clients will be picked-up and returned to Reno or Las Vegas.
